Sexually motivated murders of adult women

The following excerpts are from a book called 'Sex-related homicide and death investigation' published in 2003 by Vernon Geberth, a retired NYPD Lieutenant Commander of the Bronx homicide squad who is a nationally renowned homicide investigator.

 Geberth argues that "The Internet plays a significant role in the proliferation of…attacks. The sex-related cases I am encountering today [as a consultant] are more frequent, vicious and despicable than what I ever experienced as a homicide cop.'"

"'There are more serial killers today. In my opinion, we have had a proliferation in serial murder events, as well as sex-related homicides'"

*Please note the consistent correlation between the perpetrators fantasies, the use of pornography and the sexual crimes committed. I am not stating that 'Pornography' alone is responsible for these murderous acts. But, pornography seems to be a definite facilitator that advances the fantasy into reality.
